Free Prize Draw Terms and Conditions
1. By entering the prize draw you are agreeing to these prize draw terms and conditions.
2. This prize draw is being run by the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC): Marford Mill, Rossett, Wrexham, LL12 0HL, United Kingdom.
Eligibility to enter
3. The prize draw is open to entrants over 18 years of age who participate in the duck nest monitoring project.
4. In entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win.
5. A maximum of one entry per individual is permitted.
6. The prize draw is free to enter.
How to enter
7. The prize draw will include those who have opted in to the prize draw on completion of the duck nest monitoring survey form between midnight on 14th June and midnight on 23rd of September 2024. Entries after that time and date will not be included in the draw. If you have completed the form before 14th June and wish to be entered into the prize draw, please get in touch via monitoring@basc.org.uk.
8. To enter the prize draw you must submit any data and observations from your nests to BASC via the Waterfowlers Network Survey

9. BASC will not accept responsibility if the contact details provided are incomplete or inaccurate.
The prize
10. The prize will be one SpyPoint Flex E-36 trail camera. A 32GB mSD card and 10 Energizer Ultmate AA Lithium batteries will be included.
11. BASC’s use of particular brands as prizes does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement of such brands.

13. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered.
14. BASC reserves the right to substitute prizes with another prize of equal or higher value if
circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so.
15. The decision of BSAC regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
Winner announcement
16. The winner will be notified after 31st September 2024 via the email provided in the survey form.
17. BASC will attempt to contact the winner by email up to two times.
18. If the winner does not respond to the emails notifying them of their win within 14 days of the second email, they will lose their right to the prize, and BASC reserves the right to choose and notify a new winner.
Receipt of the prize
19. Please allow 14 days for delivery of the prize or alternative collection or deliveryarrangements may be made through mutual agreement. Data protection and publicity
20. You consent to any personal information you provide in entering the prize draw being used by BSAC for the purposes of administering the prize draw, and for those purposes as defined within BASC’s privacy policy.
21. BASC must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation BASC will send the surname and county of the prize winner to anyone who emails monitoring@basc.org.uk within one month of the closing date (31st September 2024).
22. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact monitoring@basc.org.uk. In such circumstances, BASC must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

24. All personal information shall be used in accordance with BASC’s Privacy Policy. Limitation of Liability
25. BASC does not accept any liability for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result either of participating in the prize draw or being selected for a prize. Insofar as is permitted by law, BASC will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of BASC or that of its employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
26. BASC does not provide any form of practical or IT support for this prize. On receipt, all responsibilities relating to warranty and the product are that of the prize winner.
General
27. BASC reserves the right to cancel the prize draw or amend these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice.
28. The prize draw and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
